Siabod cottage is a beautifully renovated cosy cottage in the heart of Snowdonia, close to everything that the delightful village of Capel Curig has to offer. This is probably the best location in North Wales for access to the mountains and the many superb outdoor pursuits for which this part of the world is so renowned.
Although the cottage is small it is remarkably comfortable for up to four guests. It has been tastefully modernised to provide everything that you could want or need for your break to this wonderful part of the world!
Downstairs offers a beautiful open plan living, cooking and dining space, with a log burner for those cooler nights (or for that romantic touch!) The kitchen is fully equipped with all crockery, cutlery and utensils that you could want and there is comfortable seating for four around the solid wood dining table. Also located downstairs there is a luxurious modern toilet and shower room.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom (with a double bed – 4’6″) at the rear of the house, overlooking the back garden and the stream that runs at the back of the cottage and a twin bedroom (with two single – 3′ beds) at the front. In addition to the log burner there is central heating and all bed linen and towels are provided. Oh, and pets are welcome (although please let me know if you plan on bringing more than two)!
At the intersection of the main mountain ranges of Snowdonia this beautifully modernised cottage makes the perfect base for an adventurous or relaxing break in this stunning part of the world. And the best bit is that you can relax and unwind in a hot tub with a view of Snowdon (weather permitting)!?

Downstairs offers an open plan living space which perfectly blends the traditional features of the cottage with contemporary furnishings and equipment. The outdoor hot tub is located at the front of the property so as to benefit from the views of Snowdon down the valley. Despite this it is still quite secluded (although don’t expect complete privacy). Of course, you can’t always see the mountain for the weather! It does rain quite a bit here!
The front garden is open and has a small parking area (there is parking for one car) as well as the hot tub and a seating area. The back garden in enclosed (although shared) and borders a lovely stream.
