At the intersection of the main mountain ranges of Snowdonia (Eryri) this beautifully modernised cottage makes the perfect base for an adventurous or relaxing break in this stunning part of the world. And the best bit is that you can relax and unwind in a gorgeous hand-made cedar hot tub with a view of Snowdon (weather permitting)!?
Eryri (the Welsh name for Snowdonia) is a fully modernised cottage in the heart of the National Park. Centrally located in the village of Capel Curig, probably the best location in North Wales for access to the mountains and the many superb outdoor pursuits for which this part of the world is so renowned. The cottage is small, yet remarkably comfortable for up to four guests. Downstairs offers an open plan living space which perfectly blends the traditional features of the cottage with contemporary furnishings and equipment. A really social space, there is a kitchen and dining area as well as a comfortable lounge with a log burner, ideal for those cooler nights (or for that romantic touch!). The kitchen is fully equipped with all crockery, cutlery and utensils that you could want. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one with a standard double bed and the other with twin beds. All bed linen and towels are provided. The stylish toilet and shower room are downstairs. Pets are welcome (although please let me know if you plan on bringing more than two)!
The outdoor hot tub is located at the front of the property so as to benefit from the views of Snowdon down the valley. Despite this it is still quite secluded (although don’t expect complete privacy). Of course, you can’t always see the mountain for the weather! It does rain quite a bit here!
The front garden is open and has a small parking area (there is parking for one car) as well as the hot tub and a seating area. The back garden in enclosed and borders a lovely stream.
