Eryri Cottage
A renovated miners cottage with a great social space at its heart: a bright, open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen designed to be shared, with a log burner at one side and a well-equipped kitchen at the other. Clean white walls, comfortable furniture, Smart TV with Netflix. The kind of space that takes about five minutes to feel completely at home in.
Your hot tub is at the front, in a sheltered area with its own seating — positioned to face directly down the Dyffryn Mymbyr valley toward Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). On a clear day, that's the summit of the highest mountain in Wales you can see from your hot water. An evening soak, celebratory drink in hand, looking up at the summit some or all of the group climbed earlier. That's the memory, right there.
Sleeps 4 across two bedrooms — one double, one twin. Dog-friendly, with a fenced rear garden. Caffi Siabod is at the bottom of the lane, about two minutes on foot. The Tyn y Coed — one of the great Welsh mountain pubs — takes about 7 minutes to walk to. Maybe budget a little longer for the return.
